All your photos, letters, and memorabilia can be scanned and turned into digital images.

 

​​Photo Scanning 3"x3" to 8"x10": $1.00/photo

Photo Scanning flatbed: $1.50/photo

*Flatbed covers photos larger than 8” x 10”, smaller than 3” x 3”, as well as damaged or sticky photos.

Scrapbook Scanning (up to 12"x12"): $4.00/page

Slides 35mm: $1.40/image

Negatives: $1.25/image (not per strip, but per image)

Document Scanning: $1.00/side

​Other sizes/styles of slides and negatives can be scanned as well :: inquire for pricing.

*Scanning prices include scan and basic edits of crop and rotation of scan-ready images.

If keywords/tags/descriptions/dates are to be added, colour correction is required, or if manual work is required removing photos from albums, sorting photos, or placing photos back into albums, an hourly rate will be charged.

Local to Southwestern Ontario

If you're local to GingerSnaps, we'll arrange a time for me to pick up your photos, albums, slides, and negatives ... or you're welcome to drop them off. All scanning is done in my office, and everything is returned to you when the project is complete.

 

​Non-Local to Southwestern Ontario

If you're farther away, shipping is an option, and I have clients across North America who do exactly that. Because these originals are one-of-a-kind, I'll walk you through how to pack them safely and we'll choose a shipping method with tracking and insurance. Everything is returned to you the same way once your project is finished.

If shipping originals feels like too much, I can try to connect you with a Photo Manager who is within driving distance.

​Photo Restoration

Faded, torn, water-damaged, or creased ... many old photos can be brought back to life. I handle everyday repairs myself, and for photos that need specialized work, I have a trusted network of restoration experts I can bring in.
